During the meeting, we reflected on the past school year with a interview approach. This final evaluation highlights both the promise and challenges of integrating reading apps in primary education. Teachers found that while schools generally had sufficient devices, frequent technical problems and the need for ICT support limited consistent use. Training and guidance were crucial for interpreting app results and supporting students effectively. Despite these barriers, student motivation was high—especially in early grades—where apps like Klankkr8 provided engaging activities and visible progress in reading skills. Teachers valued the app as a supplement, particularly for students with reading difficulties, and appreciated the independence it fostered in classroom practice. Participation in the CoP network proved highly valuable, offering exchange, support, and inspiration. Looking ahead, many schools plan to continue using the apps, with considerations for screen time balance. The project was praised for boosting teacher confidence and insight, while also sparking discussions on future needs, such as AI integration.
